Andrew Pidgeon joined Citadel as its APAC head of treasury this month. He was Segantii's head of treasury and financing for seven years, based in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he was a director at Credit Suisse, working in delta one and derivatives trading.
Also joining Citadel from Segantii was support engineer and US Navy veteran Peter Christie. He joined the hedge fund in New York.
Other firms have been collecting Segantii talent this month too. Qube Research and Technologies, a prolific hirer in 2024, recruited quantitative developer Geordy Mihigo, relocating him from London to Dubai. Edgar Hu spent six years working in equity capital markets for Segantii in Hong Kong; he's just joined high frequency trading firm Jump Trading.
