This prestigious MNC Company is looking for an MFT Infrastructure Engineer with experience in Managed File Transfer Technologies within the Banking and Finance space to join its dynamic business here in Hong Kong. Your new role

• Provide Level 2 / Level 3 operational support for enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms supporting critical business and client-facing services.
• Support and administer secure file transfer solutions including SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTPS, file system transfers, and related middleware technologies.
• Onboard new file transfer flows and connectivity requirements for internal applications, business users, external clients, and third-party vendors.
• Monitor, investigate, and resolve failed, delayed, or incomplete file transfers across various environments.
• Manage encryption services, certificate lifecycle management, key management processes, and secure transfer controls.
• Support secure perimeter and DMZ-based services ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Perform troubleshooting across multiple technology domains including: Network connectivity, Firewalls and security controls, Linux/Unix platforms, Databases, Storage infrastructure, Application services
• Execute operational activities including production deployments, maintenance activities, and change implementations.
• Develop and maintain operational automation using Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.
• Work closely with global teams to manage client escalations and restore services within agreed service levels.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide occasional weekend support for maintenance and production activities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 10 years of experience in an operations support, infrastructure support, or production support environment.
• Strong knowledge of Managed File Transfer technologies and protocols: SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTPS, Connect:Direct, File system transfers
• Strong understanding of: Encryption technologies, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Key management, Certificate management, Data loss prevention and data leakage controls, Virus scanning technologies
• Experience supporting enterprise MFT environments within a regulated financial services or banking environment.
• Hands-on experience managing secure external connectivity, client onboarding, file flow implementation, DMZ and perimeter environments, operational monitoring and support
• Strong Unix/Linux system administration experience.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python, Shell, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex issues spanning operating systems, security, network, database, and storage components.
• Experience working within global support organisations and managing production incidents and escalations.
