Non-disclosed New York, United StatesHead of Finance - Manufacturing AI Firm
Head of Finance
A manufacturing AI firm is currently looking to hire a Head of Finance with 5 - 10+ years of experience to lead finance at a platform which buys and runs American factories supplying SpaceX, Raytheon, Lockheed and others. The firm wants someone very strong who started in investment banking or private equity, moved to a high-growth startup and did well there, and who can now build a capital allocator for the US industrial base.
About The Firm
The firm is building general-purpose AI to accelerate industrial innovation. While owning and operating American factories, the firm gives engineers direct access to the machines, workflows and production data needed to build AI that works in the physical world.
By acquiring established factories and embedding engineers alongside experienced manufacturing teams, the firm improves production while capturing the knowledge behind how things get made and builds software for ordering and tracking parts, systems for running factory floors and AI models that help plan, execute, and improve manufacturing.
The firm's ambition is to become the go-to parts supplier for the US industrial base and build the intelligence that powers its next generation.

- Be a strategic partner to the founders, someone who could stand in front of top-tier investors and eventually help take the company public

- Strong transaction skills: M&A underwriting, deal structuring, debt and diligence
