Structured Finance Analyst – Project Finance

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Structured Finance Analyst to work with them on a permanent basis.

The responsibilities of the Structured Finance Analyst will include:

1. Conduct end-to-end credit analysis and due diligence for new project finance transactions, preparing investment proposals for branch and Head Office credit committees.
2. Manage legal documentation for project finance transactions.
3. Monitor existing project finance portfolio, addressing construction, operational, and financial issues with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Maintain and update internal credit ratings on a regular and ad hoc basis.
5. Attend lender meetings to support ongoing portfolio monitoring.
6. Prepare internal approval (Ringi) documentation for borrower consent requests.
7. Research new sectors, countries, and regulatory developments, producing reports as required.
8. Apply and support the Bank's credit risk management framework and internal rating system.
9. Engage with borrowers, sponsors, and financial advisers for deal origination and portfolio monitoring.
10. Support transaction execution and administration, including KYC, funding requests, and loan drawdowns.
11. Assist with internal management reporting.
12. Maintain and update departmental policies and procedures.
13. Perform periodic internal self-checks and compliance reviews.
14. Provide administrative support, including filing, scheduling, record keeping, and other clerical tasks.
15. Undertake additional duties as reasonably required by management.
