An international commercial bank is looking to hire a Senior Compliance Officer to join the Compliance and Money Laundering Prevention team at its London branch. The role reports directly to the Head of Compliance and MLRO and deputises for them in their absence.
The role is based in the London office 5 days a week
Job Requirements
- Deputise for the Head of Compliance and MLRO, covering their full responsibilities during periods of absence
- Carry out second-line CDD reviews and assist with investigating unusual transactions, reporting suspicious activity to the MLRO
- Draft, review and maintain compliance and AML policies and procedures, and deliver training including mandatory induction
- Support the risk-based monitoring programme and assist with FCA and PRA regulatory reporting and requests
- Own the branch’s GDPR and Data Protection arrangements and keep Companies House records up to date
- Bring solid UK compliance and AML experience within banking, strong policy-writing skills and the confidence to deputise for the MLRO
