Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Project Manager / Delivery Lead to join a major business transformation programme within a leading banking organisation.

This role will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the Business Operations Transformation workstream, ensuring successful planning, coordination and execution of process reengineering initiatives. Working closely with business stakeholders, BPR analysts, and no-code/low-code and AI solution partners, you will drive delivery, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure transformation objectives are achieved.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in business transformation, process improvement and project delivery, combined with hands-on Jira experience and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end delivery plan for the Business Process Reengineering workstream.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, RAID logs and delivery reporting.
• Configure, manage and administer Jira, including boards, epics, workflows, sprint planning and backlog management.
• Coordinate delivery across BPR analysts, transformation teams and technical solution partners.
• Ensure alignment between business process redesign activities and technology implementation workstreams.
• Track progress against key milestones and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
• Produce clear and concise status updates for programme leadership, sponsors and steering committees.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and governance forums to support programme objectives.
• Manage third-party suppliers, vendors and consulting partners where required.
• Support budget management, resource planning and delivery governance activities.
• Drive accountability across teams to ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines.

Essential Experience

• Proven track record delivering Business Process Reengineering (BPR), operational transformation or business change programmes.
• Significant experience leading projects within Banking or Financial Services environments.
• Strong hands-on experience using Jira for project, programme and agile delivery management.
• Experience managing project plans, RAID logs, governance and stakeholder communications.
• Demonstrable experience coordinating business and technology teams within complex transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, priorities and dependencies simultaneously.
• Ability to operate effectively within ambiguous or evolving programme environments.
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience delivering transformation involving automation, AI, low-code or no-code platforms.
• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, Kanban or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of process improvement frameworks, Lean or Six Sigma principles.
• Experience working alongside Business Analysts, Process Consultants and Solution Architects.
• Familiarity with banking operations, customer servicing, lending, payments, risk or regulatory functions.
