Lead Manager, Records Management
Oversee management of both physical and digital data and records in line with all corporate data and record retention policies, standards. Establishes and maintains LOB process and procedures for data retention and records management. Ensure LOB-wide adherence to records transport and storage policies and processes and data destruction requirements. Establish and maintain data inventory. Identify any risks or issues in the data / records management process and aid in remediation. Ensure compliance with data usage policies and requirements. This position is needed to ensure we are in compliance with rules and regulations around data / records management including those in place and forthcoming around data privacy.
Oversees resources that provide records archiving services and manage storage vendor relationships globally. Solves any issues with vendor relations and establishes unified operating procedures and best practices across archiving units globally.
Oversees teams that provide records imaging services and implementing control practices to minimize the information risks inherent in the data / records transport and storage process.
Directs and oversees efforts to identify and take inventory of data and records in all systems and storage facilities across Pershing entities to ensure corporate and country level policies and procedures are followed. Manages relationships with storage vendors and monitors vendor contract fulfillment.
Involved in vendor contract negotiations and recommends strategy for potential vendor consolidation. Coordinates with vendors and teams to properly identify and destroy all aged data / records due for destruction.
Sets goals and performance standards for team members and provides guidance to other managers on the management of their resources. Participates in the recruiting process. Instructs, assigns, directs and reviews the work of the team. Prepares performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback.
Manages a team of professionals, including coaching, performance management and resource allocation. Participates in the interviewing process and keeps an eye out for potential hires. Develops and oversees the achievement of team objectives. Manages the financial and human resources for team. Qualifications
