Employment Type: Full-Time


Pay: $65,000 per year


Schedule: Monday - Friday | Weekend on-call coverage as needed




Position Summary



Citadel Security USA is seeking an experienced
Operations Manager to oversee the daily execution of assigned contracts and ensure teams, schedules, compliance requirements, and service standards remain on track.



This position serves as a key connection point between field personnel, site supervisors, and the District Manager. The Operations Manager is responsible for identifying operational challenges early, coordinating solutions, supporting workforce readiness, and maintaining consistent service delivery across assigned locations.



The successful candidate will be organized, responsive, comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving environment, and capable of balancing employee needs with operational requirements and contractual expectations.




What You Will Be Responsible For




Daily Operations & Contract Execution



  • Oversee the day-to-day execution of assigned contracts and operational requirements.

  • Monitor staffing levels, post coverage, employee readiness, and overall service continuity.

  • Work closely with site supervisors and field personnel to address operational issues before they affect service delivery.

  • Review performance trends and take appropriate corrective action when standards are not being met.

  • Coordinate operational changes, staffing adjustments, and implementation of updated procedures.

  • Support consistent execution of contractual responsibilities across assigned locations.

  • Escalate significant operational concerns to the District Manager with clear supporting information.

  • Help maintain strong working relationships with employees, supervisors, management, and clients.




Workforce Scheduling & Labor Management



  • Coordinate staffing plans to maintain appropriate coverage across assigned posts.

  • Review schedules for accuracy, coverage gaps, overtime concerns, and labor requirements.

  • Work with supervisors to address call-offs, vacancies, schedule changes, and other staffing challenges.

  • Monitor labor utilization and help maintain staffing levels within established operational expectations.

  • Review timekeeping information and address discrepancies when identified.

  • Assist with workforce planning during periods of increased staffing demand or operational changes.

  • Support efforts to improve employee retention, attendance, and overall workforce stability.




Compliance, Licensing & Workforce Readiness



  • Monitor employee qualifications, required licenses, certifications, and other position-specific credentials.

  • Help ensure personnel assigned to positions meet applicable state and company requirements.

  • Track expiring credentials and coordinate follow-up when documentation requires renewal or updating.

  • Maintain awareness of applicable state licensing and Guard Card requirements.

  • Work with supervisors to address qualification or compliance gaps promptly.

  • Support internal reviews, audits, and corrective action initiatives related to workforce compliance.

  • Ensure required operational records and documentation are maintained accurately.




Recruitment, Screening & Employee Development



  • Partner with recruiting and operational leadership to identify staffing needs and hiring priorities.

  • Assist with applicant screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and workforce placement.

  • Help ensure new employees are prepared for their assigned responsibilities before beginning work.

  • Support training, coaching, and development initiatives for supervisors and field personnel.

  • Identify recurring performance concerns and work with leadership to establish appropriate improvement measures.

  • Encourage accountability, professionalism, and consistent adherence to company expectations.

  • Contribute to employee retention efforts through regular communication and responsive operational support.




Equipment, Uniform & Asset Accountability



  • Monitor the availability and condition of required uniforms, equipment, and operational assets.

  • Coordinate replacement or replenishment needs with the appropriate internal teams.

  • Maintain accurate accountability for company-issued property and assigned equipment.

  • Follow established procedures for issuing, recovering, and documenting company assets.

  • Address recurring equipment or supply issues that may interfere with operational readiness.




Client Operations & Quality Assurance



  • Serve as a field-level operational contact for assigned accounts and support day-to-day service needs.

  • Monitor service quality and identify opportunities to improve consistency and performance.

  • Conduct operational reviews and site visits as needed to evaluate staffing, appearance, documentation, and adherence to established procedures.

  • Follow up on client concerns and coordinate corrective actions with the appropriate leadership team.

  • Assist with implementing new contracts, operational changes, and updated client requirements.

  • Maintain professional communication with client representatives while protecting company standards and contractual commitments.

  • Provide the District Manager with timely updates regarding operational performance, staffing, employee issues, and client concerns.




Required Qualifications



  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience in private security, law enforcement, military, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, management, and clients.

  • Ability to evaluate operational problems and take appropriate action.

  • Working knowledge of applicable state licensing and Guard Card requirements.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with District-level leadership.

  • Availability for weekend on-call responsibilities as needed.




Preferred Qualifications



  • Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • Previous experience managing workforce scheduling or staffing coordination.

  • Experience supporting contract-based services or multi-location operations.

  • Familiarity with workforce management, scheduling, or timekeeping platforms.

  • TrackTik experience preferred.

  • Previous experience with compliance tracking, employee credential management, or operational audits.

  • Experience working directly with clients or account representatives.

  • Demonstrated experience improving staffing reliability, employee performance, or service consistency.
