PRODUCTION SUPPORT ANALYST – IRVINE, CA

As Production Support Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that data quality is consistently improving using data benchmarks, required and recommended data fields, and data standards to evaluate new and existing data.  All data-related changes being released by Development require the Quality Assurance Analyst to validate against the business requirements for functionality and expected results of the change before it is implemented. A customer-centric mindset and ability to communicate effectively is critical for success in this role. The person must be able to multitask and manage multiple systems individually or as part of a team. This work includes leveraging various manual performance reporting monitors to determine if an issue exists and its severity, timely reporting of events and performance statistics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage assigned cases in the Production Support queue
  • Resolve cases within SLA requirements
  • Communicate issue statuses and challenges to management
  • Assist with coordination of remediation activities across stakeholders for assigned cases
  • Work closely with manager on escalated production support cases
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on all new and updated feeds
  • Conduct user acceptance testing on all feed/data related Development stories
  • Regularly review site for data defects and identify ways to remediate the defects before data is in production
  • Ensure that required Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Understand applications and their interdependencies
  • Root Cause Analyst (RCA) and follow up both internal and external
  • Query database to identify quality issues by listing criteria
  • Ability to maintain quality assurance rules and threshold requirements
  • Generate datasets and identify business metrics
  • Documentation of solutions implemented
  • Maintain consistent and standardized use of metrics across all reports and dashboards
  • Other assigned tasks and projects to support the success and achievement of objectives of the Feed Operations team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree required
  • Experience in a Production Support/Quality Assurance Analyst role
  • Proficient in MS Office tools required
  • Experience with XML and XSD
  • Strong understanding of SQL including Tables, View, Stored Procedures, Functions

  • Experience with Salesforce case management
  • Experience using multiple channels for delivering customer support

  • Able to work effectively with customers who have varying technical proficiency
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a technical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently
