Summary:
We are looking for a highly strategic sales leader to join our team as a Sales Director for the Cloud & Infrastructure Business Unit. You will lead, build and manage an established team of Client Service Executives (CSEs) focused on
selling our services and solutions to our clients and new logo prospects.
Reporting to the Strategic Business Unit Leader – Cloud & Infrastructure Services, you will collaborate with other senior Cognizant leaders to deliver sales and revenue goals, and ensure proper account coverage for key accounts globally.

Responsibilities:
· Develop geography, vertical, and/or account sales plans to ensure sales and revenue goals achieved
· Build and lead a team of CSEs to execute the sales plans
· Ensure that each sales team is consistently applying the Cognizant Way to Sell (CWTS) and Client Value Framework (CVF) to shape, qualify, propose, and close sales opportunities
· Ensure that all sales opportunities support Cognizant's strategic business objectives, and are accurately recorded and maintained to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue forecasts
· Manage and resolve any internal issues or escalation requests of the pursuit teams or sales managers to maximize sales productivity

Required Experience & Skills:
· 15+ years of services/consulting experience with demonstrated success in IT outsourcing sales including 5+ years of experience as sales manager
· Familiarity with Cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, Hybrid), Infrastructure (e.g. Digital workspace, Data Centre, Managed Services), Application Operations and Security (e.g. Cyber, Compliance, Threat, Digital Identity) technologies and services to engage with the customer, understanding their strategic objectives and both short and long term business requirements
· Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, mentor and retain extraordinary sales talent and teach what is expected with clients
· Successful track record of achieving sales targets, growing revenue backlog, and growing market share in the Cloud,Infrastructure, Applications or Security services industry
· Ability to qualify deals based on strategic company objectives, client business requirements and Cognizant's service offerings
· Strong knowledge of the IT Outsourcing space and competitive landscape
· Experience building, managing, and measuring a virtual/geographically dispersed sales organization
· Strong executive presence, presentation and public speaking skills
· Strong business and financial acumen to structure large-scale complex deals
· Expert negotiation skills

Required Education:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Sciences, or equivalent work experience
· Advanced degree (MBA or Masters) is a plus
