Senior Trade Control Associate- Commodities (Crude, Products and Derivatives Trading)
Awesome new role with an Oil Supermajor, a true leader in the global commodities trading arena. Looking to make a senior hire into their middle office trade control team supporting a range of products including Crude, Products, Derivatives Gas, Power, Emissions and LNG.
Candidates will need to be confident and established within the industry for this challenging and varied role.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
Daily validation activities, making sure all physical crude & products and oil derivatives transactions are duly and timely captured and validated. Perform daily validation activities of relevant price information (spot/forward), making sure all relevant market data information is duly and timely validated accordingly to the company procedures.
To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have relevant middle office / trade control / operations experience supporting either physical or financial commodity trading. Candidates with knowledge of financial hedging, vessel chartering, shipping and bulk movement will be at an advantage. Also need strong technical skills with VBA and Matlab.
