cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to work with them on a permanent basis.
The role holder is primarily responsible for driving profitable volume growth through value added sales and service of Commercial / SME customers. They target and manage an assigned portfolio of customers within the commercial credit business segments.
The role holders responsibility will include driving relationships with commercial business intermediaries to build profitability through value added dales and services of commercial /SME customers. Role holder will also need to forge new profitable relationships with Intermediaries.
The key challenge in this role is grow new business through the intermediary network while managing both existing and grow new corporate portfolios and to read early warning signs that could affect the portfolio health.
The responsibilities will include:
- Manage and grow client and intermediary relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities and cross-sell bank products.
- Achieve revenue, asset and profitability targets.
- Manage SME and corporate portfolios.
- Prepare and review credit proposals, financial analysis and documentation.
- Conduct client visits and identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor account activity, repayments, facility documentation and credit limits.
- Identify and escalate early warning signs.
- Follow up overdue payments and support Recovery when required.
- Guide and support ARMs on routine and complex matters.
- Maintain intermediary relationships and resolve customer queries and complaints promptly.
- Ensure accurate customer records and compliance with bank procedures.
- Line manage and develop junior staff/RSOs.
- Identify and escalate process improvements.
- Support team engagement and events.
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant banking experience in an RM/SRM role and line management experience.
- Hold required professional qualifications and maintain CPD records.
- Comply with regulatory requirements, Individual Conduct Rules and Certification Regime.
- Demonstrate product, process, client, portfolio and regulatory knowledge.
