A leading asset manager are looking to hire a Senior Service Manager.

You would prominently be responsible for leading the UK Service Management function that includes major incident management problem management, change management.

Other responsibilities include;

  • Line management of staff in the UK and matrix management of Incident and problem staff globally. Manage the staffing, including recruitment, scheduling, development, evaluation and disciplinary actions according to company policy.
  • Manage and govern services within the Service Management team to ITIL and ISO20000 best practice.
  • Organise and conduct operational reviews with Technology areas to ensure performance against processes.

  • Responsible for being Incident Manager for high severity Major Incidents, where there is reputational or financial risk to Fidelity or where Business Continuity Management needs to be engaged.

Therefore they are looking for someone with;

  • A strong experience leading Service management teams

  • Experience of writing, implementing, owning and improving ITIL operations procedures (Incident prioritisation, war room/command & control, playbooks, business communication strategy, knowledge transfer and documentation) and Problem Management processes (reactive, proactive, KE's, trend analysis and root cause).
