About the Role
Looking to build your career in finance and financial reporting?
We're seeking a Financial Reporting Administrator to join our Financial Reporting team in a varied and rewarding junior-level role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some finance or accounting experience who is eager to develop their skills within a supportive environment where full training will be provided.
You'll play a key role in supporting reporting processes, reconciliations, statutory accounts preparation and a variety of finance projects within the team, while gaining valuable exposure to financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Financial Reporting Administrator, you will:
- Prepare supporting working papers and financial documentation.
- Match invoices to receipts and carry out reconciliation activities.
- Post financial journals as required.
- Support intercompany settlements and transactions.
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts.
- Compile and maintain finance controls documentation.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Assist with the tagging and submission of statutory accounts.
- Support the production of regulatory returns.
- Assist with finance-related projects, process improvements and change initiatives.
- Conduct investigations and provide support for ad hoc finance activities.
- Manage high volumes of invoice processing while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
About You
We're keen to hear from individuals who are organised, detail-oriented and eager to learn. You may currently be working as a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar.
Essential Criteria
- Basic accounting and finance process knowledge.
- Understanding of statutory accounting principles.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Previous experience using finance systems (any ERP or finance software).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Quick learner with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Financial Services industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
