Responsibilities:

1. Support Private Banking Relationship Managers throughout the client onboarding and account-opening process.
2. Review account-opening documents and ensure all required information and supporting documents are complete and accurate.
3. Perform KYC, customer due diligence and AML checks in accordance with the Bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.
4. Coordinate with clients, Relationship Managers, Compliance, Operations and other internal stakeholders to resolve documentation gaps and onboarding queries.
5. Support periodic KYC reviews, client information updates and remediation exercises.
6. Follow up on outstanding documents and monitor cases to ensure timely completion.
7. Maintain accurate client records and update client information in the relevant systems.
8. Track the progress of onboarding and review cases, prepare status reports and escalate delays or issues where necessary.
9. Ensure a high standard of service and a smooth onboarding experience for clients and Relationship Managers.
10. Perform other client-servicing and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
2. Min 1 year experience in client onboarding, account opening, KYC, AML, client documentation or periodic reviews within a bank.
3. Private banking or wealth management experience would be an advantage.
4. Good understanding of KYC, customer due diligence and AML requirements.
5. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify documentation gaps and discrepancies.
6. Good communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
7. Able to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is required to support Mandarin-speaking clients and review relevant documentation.
9. This is a one-year contract position with staff benefits and bonus.
