Reporting to the Head, Electronic Trading, Institutional Business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide subject matter expertise on ASEAN market microstructure, execution strategies, liquidity dynamics, and trading venue characteristics.
2. Advise clients on electronic execution solutions, algorithmic trading strategies, smart order routing, and trading workflow optimization.
3. Monitor developments in ASEAN market structure, exchange initiatives, and regulatory changes impacting electronic trading.
4. Work closely with product and technology teams to communicate client feedback and drive platform enhancements.
5. Partner with regional sales trading, execution consulting, product, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and support.
6. Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing trading capabilities and client stickiness
7. Support marketing and industry engagement activities, including conferences, industry forums, and client events

Requirements

1. Bachelor Degree or higher
2. CMFAS certificates (M1A, M5, M6, M6A), or exempted from respective CMFAS exams, CMFAS certificate (M2A) is a plus
3. At least 4 years of relevant experience in trading & execution in any ASEAN equities market
4. A strong sense of ownership and responsibility
5. Fast learner, possessing the willingness to learn and a can-do attitude
6. Meticulous and good with numbers
7. Comfortable with change, ambiguity, debate, conflict and informed risk taking
8. Quick and decisive thinking and the ability to perform in a dynamic and stressful environment
9. Multi-tasker who can manage multiple streams of work concurrently
10. Strong team player with entrepreneurial instincts
11. Able to work on Singapore public holidays as other markets are trading

Additional Skills and Experience

1. Understanding of the trading ecosystem lifecycle
2. Familiarity of various cash equities market's microstructure
3. Basic understanding of algo trading logic
4. Hands-on exposure to regional cash equities markets
5. Exposure to the client onboarding process
6. Experience with Futures trading ecosystem is a plus
7. Experience with trading platforms and sales trading coverage is a plus
