PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

The position holder will lead strategic partnerships and alliances that strengthen our card value proposition, drive customer acquisition, engagement, usage, and retention, and deliver differentiated benefits and rewards. Build and manage relationships with merchants, lifestyle, travel, retail, hospitality, e-commerce, and loyalty partners, negotiating commercial terms and delivering impactful campaigns and customer programmes. Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Digital, Legal, Compliance, Procurement and Operations teams to ensure effective execution, while tracking performance, ROI, and partner contribution to optimise results.

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Building partnerships with merchants, lifestyle brands, travel providers, retail groups, hospitality partners, e-commerce platforms, and loyalty providers.
• Supporting card acquisition, activation, usage, and retention campaigns.
• Developing benefit platforms, promotional offers, rewards propositions, and customer engagement programs.
• Negotiating commercial terms, partner agreements, campaign mechanics, and service-level expectations.
• Managing partner relationships and ensuring timely campaign execution.
• Working closely with product, marketing, digital, legal, compliance, procurement, and operations teams.
• Tracking campaign performance, customer uptake, spend uplift, ROI, and partner contribution.

Knowledge and Experience:

• 5-7 years in partnerships, alliances, business development, or marketing partnerships, ideally within a card issuing business, bank, payment company, fintech, loyalty program, or marketing agency.
• Proven experience developing and managing partnerships across merchants, lifestyle, travel, retail, hospitality, e-commerce, and loyalty ecosystems, including negotiating commercial terms, agreements, and campaign structures.
• Strong understanding of card acquisition, activation, usage, and retention, with experience developing rewards, benefits, promotional offers, and customer engagement programmes.
• Experience managing end-to-end partnership campaigns and cross-functional delivery, with the ability to track customer uptake, spend uplift, ROI, and partner contribution.
• Strong marketing communication skills, including campaign messaging, customer communications, presentations, and partner proposals.
• Bilingual capability in Arabic and English.
• GCC or KSA experience is a strong advantage, particularly regional merchant partnerships, banking campaigns, or local customer engagement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Previous experience within Banking, Digital Payment & Card solutions, or the FinTech industry.
• Regional experience, including working in a faced-paced matrix organisation.

Preferred Skills:

• The ability to analyse data, troubleshoot payment issues, optimize processes, and make data-driven decisions.
• Good understanding of payment systems, digital platforms, system workflows, security basics, and industry technologies.
• An understanding of regional regulations across financial services or payment networks.
