Role overview:

Our client is looking for a Junior Sales Manager to support the sales team by managing incoming leads, qualifying prospects, maintaining the sales pipeline and supporting senior sales managers throughout the sales process. The role will also involve customer engagement, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to sales reporting and deal closure.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead Handling and Qualification: Manage incoming sales leads, check data accuracy and conduct initial prospect outreach.
• Pipeline Management: Record customer interactions in Salesforce or similar platforms, ensuring records are updated and follow-ups are completed on time.
• Sales Support: Assist senior sales managers with RFP preparation, preliminary pricing and negotiation activities.
• Business Development: Identify new sales opportunities through existing contacts, industry knowledge and collaboration with internal teams.
• Customer and Account Support: Act as a primary or secondary point of contact for existing accounts, maintaining strong customer engagement.
• Reporting: Participate in daily sales briefings, review sales trends and results, and support deal closure.
