Excellent opportunity to join a leading full-service real estate services and investment firm. This is a newly created role to be in charge of the local SPV accounting and client services

This role is based in Tokyo, Japan and reports to the Head of APAC who is based in Hong Kong. As this is newly created role, the incumbent is expected to take a hands-on-approach in the day to day financials such as overseeing the accounting bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, valuation process, and as well as managing the preparation of the financial reports and tax reporting

Responsibilites:

• Manage and oversee all service-related matters for a portfolio of Real Estate structures (including underlying SPVs and Management companies), in particular the preparation of monthly / quarterly / annually financial reporting, annual financial statements and cash management
• Manage and oversee accuracy and timeliness of client deliverables from Tokyo and Hong Kong team
• Prepare and coordinate related schedules and year-end processes with auditors and tax agents
• Handle inquiries from external parties including, but not limited to, bankers, tax agents, auditors, property managers and legal counsel's Client liaison, developing existing and new client relationship

Requirement:

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. Those with CPA or CFA is a plus
• Should have at least 8 years of working experience in finance accounting and reporting position, in the real estate industry
• Knowledge in investment SPV structures such as TMK, GK, TK
• Proficient in English and Japanese language and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
• Well organized and able to work independently as well as with team members
