C++ Software Engineer *RELOCATION TO DUBLIN HEADQUARTERS*

Elevate Partners are partnered with a globally recognised high-frequency trading firm that is continuing to expand its engineering function in Dublin.

This is an opportunity to join a world-class engineering team responsible for designing and developing highly performant, low-latency systems that underpin a global trading platform. Responsibilities

1. Design, develop and optimise high-performance software using Modern C++ (C++17/20).
2. Build scalable, low-latency systems with a focus on performance, reliability and efficiency.
3. Work closely with highly skilled engineers to solve complex technical challenges.
4. Continuously improve system performance through profiling, optimisation and performance tuning.
5. Contribute to the design and architecture of mission-critical trading infrastructure.

Requirements

1. Strong commercial experience developing software in Modern C++ (C++17/20 or later).
2. Excellent understanding of multithreading, concurrency and object-oriented design.
3. Strong knowledge of Linux development environments.
4. Experience building high-performance or low-latency systems.
5. A solid understanding of algorithms, data structures and software engineering fundamentals.
6. Exposure to high-frequency trading, electronic trading or other latency-sensitive environments would be highly advantageous.
