The GSCC Senior Manager is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of high-quality geopolitical and security intelligence products. The role focuses on researching, analysing and producing data-driven assessments on global geopolitical developments and security risks that may impact/impacts Wipro's associates, facilities, business operations and clients across regions (the Americas, Europe, APMEA and India).

The role involves continuous monitoring of global geopolitical and security developments, including political instability, social unrest, terrorism, conflicts/wars, crime, cyber-activity (non-technical), natural hazards/disasters, socio-political and socio-economic disruptions - among others - and translating these into structured analytical outputs for internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of geopolitical and security developments across regions of interest, particularly those concerning Wipro locations.
  • Monitor global events, including conflicts, political shifts, protests, crime trends, conflicts/wars, cyber-activity (non-technical), natural hazards/disasters and emerging risks, among others.
  • Produce regular intelligence/security reports, briefings and written assessments for internal stakeholders.
  • Support preparation of country/city risk profiles, travel assessments and thematic risk reports.
  • Analyse data from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends and potential risks, including using technology/AI.
  • Contribute to the development of analytical frameworks and methodologies for risk assessments.
  • Provide insights to support business decision-making and situational awareness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand intelligence/security requirements and information needs.
  • Support crisis monitoring/assessments by providing timely and relevant updates on evolving situations globally.
  • Maintain situational awareness of security trends such as geopolitical conflicts, civil unrest and macro/micro-risk drivers.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a centralised risk register to capture, track and analyse enterprise-wide GSG-related risks.
  • Prepare presentations and briefing materials for stakeholders.
  • Oversee the work of non-core analysts and senior analysts to ensure quality and consistency of analytical outputs.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 12-15 years of experience in geopolitical analysis, security risk assessments or intelligence research. Advanced degree in International Relations/Studies, Political Science, Security Studies or a related field. Related certifications such as ISO 31000 (Risk Management).

  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Proven experience in writing high-quality analytical reports and briefings.
  • Understanding of the global geopolitical/security landscape and risk indicators.
  • Ability to work with diverse data sources.
  • Well-versed with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proficient in leveraging technology platforms, and analytical/AI tools to support research, analysis and intelligence production.
  • Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
