Your new role

• Participate in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of scalable application and data management systems.
• Support the development of robust, high-performance data storage and processing solutions, including data pipelines and architectures.
• Assist in defining and documenting system architecture, data models, data flows, and technical specifications.
• Perform technical analysis, coding, testing, and troubleshooting using modern technologies and best practices.
• Execute full SDLC activities, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), UAT, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with internal teams, business users, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with organisational standards.
• Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and system deployments.
• Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 4-5+ years of experience in application development and/or data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of programming language Java
• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL), data modelling, and ETL processes.
• Experience in enterprise application development, including web-based systems and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with data storage technologies (e.g., relational databases, cloud storage, object storage).
• Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile preferred).
