Key Responsibilities
- Oversee trade lifecycle management including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation
- Liaise with prime brokers, fund administrators, and counterparties to ensure accurate and timely trade settlement
- Coordinate closely with fund accountants on NAV review, P&L reconciliation, and valuation matters
- Work with auditors during annual audits and assist in preparation of supporting documentation
- Monitor cash balances, financing, and margin requirements across prime brokers
- Support regulatory reporting and filings, including SFC reporting requirements
- Investigate and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and operational issues on a timely basis
- Enhance operational processes and controls to improve efficiency and mitigate risk
- Assist with onboarding of new brokers, custodians, and service providers
- Collaborate with investment, compliance, and risk teams on operational and reporting matters
- Requirements
- 5 years or above relevant experience in hedge fund operations, middle office, or fund administration
- Strong understanding of trade settlement, reconciliations, and hedge fund operational workflows
- Experience working with prime brokers, fund administrators, and auditors
- Familiarity with SFC regulatory reporting and compliance requirements preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies independently
- Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate across internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with portfolio management or OMS systems
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
