The Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team comprises collaborative, highly experienced professionals dedicated to originating and executing complex fixed income and credit solutions. Working in close synergy with coverage, corporate finance, sales, and syndication teams, the desk fosters an entrepreneurial, strategic, and high-performing environment where senior leaders drive business growth and direct transaction execution.

about the job.

• Lead and drive the origination and execution of debt capital market transactions, including G3 bonds, dim sum bonds, LGFV issuances, and structured debt offerings.

• Cultivate and manage senior C-suite and treasury relationships with corporate issuers, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and financial institutions across Greater China.

• Oversee deal structuring, documentation, credit analysis, rating agency discussions, and regulatory compliance under SFC and HKEX frameworks.

• Partner closely with syndication, sales, and underwriting teams to provide market intelligence, pricing guidance, and execution strategy to clients.

• Mentor, manage, and develop junior and mid-level execution team members to maintain high standards of transaction delivery.

skills & experience required.

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Debt Capital Markets (DCM) origination and execution within a top-tier investment bank or securities firm.

• Proven track record of originating and successfully closing offshore bond issuances and debt financing transactions in Hong Kong.

• Deep knowledge of global debt markets, credit structures, rating methodologies, and SFC regulatory guidelines.

• Valid SFC Type 1 and/or Type 6 license (or eligible to become a Responsible Officer).

• Full professional fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required to interact with regional corporate clients and mainland issuers.

• Exceptional leadership, client relationship management, negotiation, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
