Job Description

• Conduct fundamental equity research across global Industrials sectors.
• Generate actionable long and short investment ideas.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks.
• Perform company analysis, earnings forecasting, and industry research.
• Conduct primary research through:
• Management meetings
• Expert network consultations
• Channel checks
• Customer and supplier interviews
• Supply chain analysis
• Monitor industry developments, commodity cycles, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics.
• Present investment recommendations directly to the Founder & CIO.
• Track portfolio holdings and investment catalysts.

The Successful Applicant

• 3-15 years of relevant investment research experience.
• Global Industrials sector expertise, including Chemicals, Energy, Capital Goods, Machinery, Building Materials, or related industries.
• Buy-side or top-tier sell-side research background.
• Graduated from a QS Top 100 university.
• Strong academic pedigree, preferably candidates who have gone through China's National Higher Education Entrance Examination (Gaokao) and demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.
• Proven capability in financial modelling, fundamental research, channel checks, and investment idea generation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management teams and industry participants across China and global markets.
• Based in Hong Kong or willing to relocate.
• Only mandarin speaker is considered
