Our client, a leading Chinese securities firm with a growing presence in Hong Kong, is seeking an experienced Client Data Specialist to join its Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in Client Reference Data, Static Data Management, or Securities Operations looking to broaden their exposure within a dynamic investment banking environment.

• Process account maintenance requests, including client profile updates, changes to authorized signatories, corporate actions, and client information amendments
• Maintain accurate client reference data and standing settlement instructions (SSI) across internal and downstream systems
• Ensure all client static data is captured, validated, maintained, and monitored in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct legal entity creation, maintenance, and data quality remediation through independent research and verification
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Compliance, and Operations stakeholders to resolve client data-related enquiries
• Support ongoing data governance initiatives and improve data quality controls across the client lifecycle
• Participate in system enhancement projects, UAT testing, workflow optimisation, and data migration activities
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of client records and account-opening packages

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience within Banking, Brokerage, Securities, or Financial Services Operations
• Proven experience in:
  • Client Static Data / Reference Data Maintenance
  • Customer Profile Management
  • Securities Operations
• Strong understanding of client lifecycle and data management processes
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliation, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Exposure to UAT, system implementation, or migration projects would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Good command of English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin
