What you need to do now
- Our client, a well-established commercial bank with a strong presence in Hong Kong, is seeking an Assistant Manager / Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join its Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for HR professionals with a background in HR Business Partnering and/or Talent Acquisition within the banking sector who are looking to broaden their strategic HR exposure and partner closely with business stakeholders across the organization.
Your new role
- Act as a trusted HR partner to business leaders and department heads on people-related matters.
- Provide HR advisory support across the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and talent development.
- Partner with hiring managers to manage recruitment activities and support key hiring initiatives.
- Support organizational development, succession planning, and talent management programs.
- Advise stakeholders on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze HR trends and workforce data to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.
- Participate in HR projects, transformation initiatives, and process improvement programs.
- Collaborate closely with Centers of Excellence and HR Operations teams to deliver effective HR solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of HR experience within the banking industry, ideally gained from a commercial bank.
- Experience in HR Business Partnering and/or Talent Acquisition is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employee lifecycle management, and talent acquisition processes.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across different business functions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, commercially minded, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is preferred.
