About the Role:

We offer you the opportunity to gain in-depth expertise by processing the reinsurance portfolio from the policy to the financial processing of premiums and claims, as well as the associated reporting. You should be enthusiastic about working on the conception and introduction of efficient and innovative processes, an independent and inquisitive approach, the pleasure of working in an international environment and in particular our Digitization journey from manually capturing to analyzing data.

About the Responsibilities:
• Efficient and accurate booking of reinsurance settlements, monitoring of incoming payment transactions, correspondence, and execution of the first step of the dunning process.
• Regular reporting and close cooperation with the responsible underwriter and the claims team.
• Entry and maintenance of contract data in our policy administration system.
• Cooperation with colleagues in other locations (London, Paris, Madrid, Milan, Amsterdam).

Numerous opportunities to quickly take on more responsibility are available:
• Participation in projects for the digitalization and further development of the division.
• Participation in cross-divisional initiatives and projects.

Skills and Experience:
• Successful completion of a commercial vocational training or business degree (Bachelor) preferably with a focus on accounting, finance, insurance or completed commercial training, preferably also with initial professional experience in Reinsurance.
• Fluent written and spoken English & German, other languages desirable.
• Very good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially Excel
• Strong analytical thinking skills with a very good understanding of data and figures
• Strong initiative and willingness to work on your own initiative.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure successful collaboration.
