About the Team
The Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) division contributes to Euroclear's competitiveness by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. Our teams deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients. We deploy changes into the production environment in a controlled and structured way that does not compromise production stability and we ensure applicative production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embrace the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Design and develop IT architecture solutions (integrated process, applications, data, and technology) to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.
- Develop specifications for new products/services around the PING product, applications, and service offerings for CIAM processes.
- Work closely with the Program Delivery Lead and be part of the IT program transversal team.
- Act as a transversal System Architect across CIAM streams (onboarding, authentication, authorization, lifecycle).
- Assess the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
- Design architecture to support the end-to-end strategy of the CIAM platform based on the PING product.
- Support the technical transversal architecture to enable efficient and scalable integration with other Euroclear initiatives.
- Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate system alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
- Perform technical planning, architecture development, and modification of specifications.
- Bridge business, security, architecture, and engineering with clear, actionable requirements.
- Produce concise, executive-ready materials for governance (e.g., status, risks, decisions).
- Contribute actively to the System Architect Community of Practice, driving continuous improvement in ways of working to enhance delivery effectiveness and consistency across teams.
Key Requirements:
- The role requires extensive knowledge of company business operations, information landscape, application platforms and technical infrastructure, strong analytical capability, a thorough understanding of the system development and implementation process, and the interpersonal skills to build alignment around identified strategies and proposed architecture solutions.
- Understands long-term business needs and identifies the relevant technical, data, and application architectures required to meet these needs.
- Responsible for understanding and assessing a client's business operations, identifying challenges and opportunities, and recommending appropriate solutions. Ensures proper translation of business requirements into a set of structured business process, knowledge, technology, and organization specifications that satisfy the client's strategic and operational objectives.
- Is able to develop business cases and perform impact analysis, engaging a wide range of stakeholders across business and IT.
- Decision-making involves the use of judgment, with an emphasis on the development of new or improved standards and on the translation of IT strategies into operational plans.
- Works with systems of varying levels of complexity, which can typically span across functional and location boundaries. Is able to navigate change and uncertainty in existing business processes, strategies, and frameworks.
- Contributes to the improvement of IT architecture processes, including blueprint (future-state) definition, architecture guideline definition, and project definition.
- Provides guidance and advice on architecture solutions for projects to senior IT Organization Management, IT Project Management, and Application Development stakeholders.
