Requirements

The Purpose:

The Senior Technical Solutions Analyst role is responsible for providing analytical support and co-ordination to support the NPP real-time payments platform. The role works directly with the NPP Technology Delivery and other cross functional teams to support the ongoing capability development and strategic initiatives and ensure the smooth the day-to-day operational functioning of the infrastructure.

Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drive detailed and thorough analysis relating to all NPP technical solutions and supporting documentation and ensure its ongoing maintenance. Support NPP Participant general enquiries and maintain a team email mailbox.
  • Understand high-level business and payment message flows and have the ability to create use cases and provide technical input into message usage guidelines.
  • Assist with the creation and ongoing maintenance of documented requirements needed to support the ongoing Change Management process and its continuous improvement.
  • Support NPP Committees as required in relation to NPP technology/operational issues and documenting agenda, meeting packs, outcomes, meeting minutes and actions.
  • Co-ordinate cross team solutioning and analysis for change requests, projects and specific process improvement tasks. This may involve internal AP+ teams, vendors and participants. .
  • Provide operational input and support on NPP compliance related matters.
  • Assist with technical assessment of NPP Change Requests and for NPP Projects, understand the NPP Componentry, NPP Central Components and other infrastructure involved to assess the solution and determine implementation/migration approaches.
  • Write, design and provide required supporting documentation to enable operational processes and feasibility with participants or internal stakeholders (as requested).
  • Provide support for operational readiness requirements relating to key strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate change requests, proposals, capability requests for feasibility and provide recommendation to relevant committee/s.
  • Review testing and certification requirements to support NPP Testing team, and to provide guidance to testing team in preparing Test documents for NPP releases.

We'd love to hear from you if have:
  • Sound Technical Analysis experience (3 - 5 years) preferably in a payments environment
  • Strong data/numeracy skills required to support the data analysis and reporting aspects of the role
  • NPP knowledge at systems or operational level would be an advantage
  • Experience in ISO20022 will be highly desirable
  • Strong infrastructure and project delivery experience, including infrastructure projects or application migration, would be highly desirable
