How will I help? As a Senior Solutions Designer - Applications,you will be providing expert technical and/or domain expertise to both business and IT, covering all aspects of system applications including architecture, solution design, development, maintenance, support, technology selection, configuration, testing, implementation and/or enhancements across technology finance applications landscape.
Key Responsibilities Include: - Lead the development of components of the overall app architecture (high level and detailed technical definition and design) ensuring accurate documentation is available to the team
- Use awareness of Agile principles, techniques, and processes and how they fit within the work environment to influence work approach and value creation
- Complete detailed design and functional specification and provide deep technical expertise downstream in build and test.
- Help motivate the team especially when there is pressure to meet targets
- Advise on the consistent use of, and adherence to, operational policies, standards, tools, and processes to ensure consistent application maintenance and fulfilment of regulatory obligations.
- Use knowledge of business strategy and development to advance technology solutions, assisting our customers and partner organizations

What do I need? - 10 plus years of experience in design patterns, domain-driven design, component-based architecture, and evolutionary architecture.
- Hands on experience in Java 11, Spring, Spring Boot and REST API
- Design, develop and maintain the API specification using best practices.
- Implement authentication, authorization and security features in API
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse API requirements.
- Optimize API performance.
- Troubleshoot and debug API related issues.
- Create and maintain API documentation.
- Tertiary level qualifications in Computer Science or relevant industry recognised certification
Nice to have: - Apache Kafka, Git, Database understanding with basic knowledge of SQL.
- Able to interact with cross-functional teams and external vendors part of the role
