Job Description
We are hiring for a Senior Software Engineer who can start immediately. You can work anywhere in Australia

Who are you:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for technical design and development of system enhancements and ensure stability, reliability, and sustainability of our current and future products.

What you will do:

• Utilize strong understanding of core business and technology strategies to deliver best outcome.
• Provide consultancy across projects and delivery teams.
• Analyze systems to provide system support and recommendations for development.
• Advise on corrective actions required to fix business critical systems (code, databases, reference data, interfaces, security implementation, framework, etc.).
• Understand, coach, and ensure best software engineering design and quality practices.
• Ensure effective engagement with stakeholders for the provision of system support.
• Expert troubleshooting of implementation, environment, and deployment issues.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal Group policies and external regulatory requirements.

What We Need to See:

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role gained from Financial Domain
• Strong competency in software engineering using SQL technologies
• Strong competency working on batch integration using SSIS, etc.
• Experienced work with different data stores including OLTP, ODS, and Data Warehouse.
• Experienced in working with both brown and green field systems contexts.
• Experience in implementing large scale and high-volume software solutions.
• Ability to commit to a 12-month minimum contract
• Can work anywhere in Australia - Fully remote
• Must be an AU Citizen or PR

Desirable

• Tertiary qualifications in IT or Computer Science or equivalent certification
• Experience working with contemporary engineering delivery tools such as GitHub, TeamCity, Octopus, Artifactory, etc.
• Experience working with SQL technologies in public cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
