APRA’s Group Strategy team is responsible for working with APRA’s Executive to drive the strategic positioning of APRA within the financial system and enhancing organisational effectiveness.

The Senior Lead – Group Strategy Delivery will play an important role in pro-actively managing the successful delivery of APRA’s four-year Corporate Strategy. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Group Strategy and Governance, the role has responsibility for:

  • all aspects of strategy delivery including pro-active oversight and management of APRA’s strategic initiatives portfolio;
  • reporting on progress and providing advice and recommendations on actions required to ensure successful delivery;
  • working with business leads and other key stakeholders to plan and execute initiatives with the primary aim of delivering strategic outcomes; and
  •  identify, initiate and implement processes and systems necessary to deliver on APRA’s strategy.

APRA is looking to enhance its capabilities in this area as a key priority and the successful candidate will significantly contribute to this outcome.

In addition to having relevant tertiary qualifications, the successful candidate will have experience in delivering strategic plans preferably in either a professional, government, finance or prudential environment. You will have strong portfolio management expertise, stakeholder management and communication skills including the ability to constructively challenge and influence key stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
