Your new role
In this 2nd line role, you will execute the compliance agenda across the financial markets business and OTC Derivatives regulatory reform.

  • Supporting the execution of established and strategic deliverables in risk and compliance across financial markets
  • G20 OTC Derivatives reform and financial market compliance advisory
  • Provide relevant compliance advice, insight, oversight and monitoring over all activities relating to the business, including activities relevant to the G20 OTC Derivative Reform requirements.
  • Providing compliance advice, insights and effective review to promote a rigorous, forward looking and practical approach to compliance risk management
  • Monitoring, identifying, and advising on domestic and global regulatory change in financial markets
  • Proactively engage the front line and give face to face training of regulatory changes and compliance
  • Effectively and proactively identify and escalate risks and issues to ensure that they are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner


What you'll need to succeed
  • A risk and compliance focused professional with experience in financial markets
  • Knowledge of G20 OTC Derivative Reform requirements, and their implications on OTC dealing activities
  • Understanding of the Australian regulatory environment relating to financial markets activities
  • Experience in a Compliance, Risk or legal function or team preferred
  • Business acumen
  • Strong technical capability
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with the business and market traders
