How will I help?

As the Senior Analyst in the Consumer & Business Marketing Analytics team (CBMA), you will support and advise our Marketing partners on their customer targeted initiatives through direct marketing and digital channels and will strengthen Westpac's information and analytical approach to provide business partners and customers with self-serve information, efficient outputs and effective execution.

• The Senior Analyst will deliver against this vision by supporting Group Data to provide trusted information, analysis, actionable insights and advice to internal customers and business partners.
• The role is responsible for partnering with business partners and customers to deliver data-driven analytical actionable insights which inform and drive development of strategy(ies) to maximise sustainable economic profit growth for Group Data - through incremental revenue and/or cost reduction.

What do I need?

• A relevant qualification in an area such as IT, Maths, Statistics, Econometrics, Marketing Information Systems or Finance
• 2 to 4 years' experience in an analytics role
• Experience in Marketing processes and procedures including marketing and data briefs
• Experience in Direct Marketing or Lead Management and customer targeting
• Customer contact management principles
• Extensive knowledge of various analytics and problem solving techniques
• Previous experience working in a speciality program using Advanced SQL.
• Experience with large scale RBDMS (Teradata preferred)
• Experience with campaign management software (SAS MA/MO Teradata) & MS Applications
• R/Python Programming experience highly desirable
