About The Role:

We're looking to hire a person with real world experience in the operation of SaaS platforms targeting the business market. This is a strategic role working across development, operations and customer facing teams to build a non-functional product roadmap that empowers the next phase of our platform growth. We've successfully transitioned from a multi versioned on-premise business to a single version SaaS platform. We're now focusing on the challenges this brings by building out teams, processes and platform that allows us to scale as a SaaS only business.

You'll work alongside product architects, functional product managers and the operations leadership team to shape our cloud migration strategy, delivery and deployment infrastructure, operational tooling, customer insight tooling and platform reliability strategies. The role is NOT focused on day to day operational management.

Working alongside the Chief Product Manager you will:

• Provide strategic vision and build out an accompanying roadmap.
• Prioritise work based on value to the business and impact on the customer.
• Work with multiple product owners and teams as they build detailed backlogs and provide regular feedback on in progress work.
• Work with infrastructure and change management teams to help shape organisation policies and processes that better support the SaaS business model.
• Work in partnership with architects to help shape technical delivery priorities.
• Work in partnership with functional product managers, customer facing staff and pre sales teams to better understand the business requirements that shape our platform needs and priorities.
• Accelerate agile outcomes through an ideate, define, deliver and validate focused approach.

What You Will Need:

• Proven track record of delivery
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience
• 3+ years professional experience with a successful SaaS business
• A hands on history of operations and / or development
• Be comfortable talking detail with experts on cloud technologies, delivery pipelines, site reliability, process automation, change management, metrics and monitoring etc
• Strong communication ability, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders
• A pragmatic ability to innovate, driving new ideas and concepts, taking account of technology changes and market expectations
• Experience working in an agile environment

Bonus If You Have:

• An interest in finance (treasury management)
• Experience with Scaled Agile and Scrum
• Cloud platform exposure and experience, specifically Azure
