The Purpose:

Australian Payments Plus (AP+) is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Process Analyst to join our team. As a Process Analyst at AP+, you will play a crucial role in driving process optimization for our business. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, analyze current processes, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Our capabilities include Australia's domestic debit network, real-time payments infrastructure, secure bill payments, digital identity exchange, QR code payments and experiences, and open wallet solutions. Responsibilities

As a Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission by identifying process improvement opportunities, conducting thorough analysis, and implementing solutions. Your critical thinking skills and expertise will be integral in streamlining operations, improving efficiency, and providing superior customer experiences. By leading process improvement initiatives across the organisation. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify, analyse, and optimise business processes, ultimately helping to achieve our strategic goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Day to day, you will:
  • Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership in process optimisation to align with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify areas where process improvements can contribute to long-term success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Analyze current business processes and systems to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
  • Design and document new, streamlined processes and workflows
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to processes and identify opportunities for further refinement
  • Identify and implement process automation and digital transformation initiatives
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate process improvements and project updates to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of process improvements
  • Spearhead large-scale process transformation initiatives, overseeing change management strategies and stakeholder engagement.

In order for you to be successful in the role, you'll have:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics or a related field from an Australian tertiary institution.
  • Significant relevant experience: Likely 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in business process engineering or management consulting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading large-scale process improvement initiatives and delivering significant business impact.
  • Proven ability to drive change in a complex organisation, with a strong focus on transformational leadership.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and modelling.
  • Project Management experience ensuring effective project delivery and risk management.
  • Business Strategy experience including but not limited to drafting of business cases and data analysis.
  • Proven ability to work with & guide senior stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in process modelling and analysis tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and processes.
