How will I help? We are looking for a highly talented Strategic and Service Designer to join our Borrow Leadership team as a Customer Proposition Lead.
This role is responsible for leading and coaching 2 Service Designers to simplify and enhance experiences for businesses, bankers and brokers, particularly within Business Lending. This is a hands on leadership position and the successful candidate will conduct their own projects while providing leadership and support to the team.
The successful candidate will be a highly experienced Strategic and Service designer, currently operating at a principal level or above, able to lead and coach experience design teams across multiple programs. This is a unique opportunity to help shape experiences that empowers businesses, bankers and brokers to navigate digital journeys while reducing risk.

What do I need? To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 10+ years' experience as a Strategic, CX or Service Designer
- 5+ years Financial Services domain knowledge
- a solid understanding of Businesses, including their needs, wants and challenges
- exceptional communication and influencing skills with senior and executive stakeholders
- experience in leading and managing the performance of other designers
- to be an expert facilitator able to craft workshop experiences and guide sessions with customers, employees, and senior stakeholders
- strong business acumen and an ability to both balance and articulate customer and commercial benefits
- to oversee delivery of high quality project deliverables, while effectively managing risk, within time and budget.
- to actively raise awareness of CX methodologies to increase CX and design maturity across stakeholder groups.
- collaborate with business stakeholders, the Borrow Leadership team and team members to drive quantifiable outcomes and advocate for Customer-Led, Digital-First designs.
