An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Paralegal to join its in-house team and provide paralegal and legal administrative support to the organisation. Reporting to the General Counsel while liaising with various stakeholders, you will:
What you'll need to succeed
- assist in the preparation of contracts, legal correspondence and other documents;
- undertake legal research, including research and analysis of statutes, case law and other materials;
- assist with the preparation and distribution of Board Papers, minutes and circular resolutions;
- ensure that all relevant registers are updated and maintained;
- maintain appropriate record keeping and filing;
- provide high-level legal administrative and project support.
You will have previous experience as a legal administrative assistant or paralegal, and ideally be in the process of studying a law degree. You will have knowledge and experience in administrative procedures, including record management with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. In addition to a high level of interpersonal, oral and written skills, you will also have the ability to prioritise and complete tasks within required timeframes. Candidates with previous experience in property law would be well-regarded but this is not a prerequisite.
