In-house Legal Counsel position for a technology lawyer to join a leading professional services organisation. Your new company
Hays Legal has partnered with a leading professional services organisation who are currently looking to hire a new Legal Counsel into their high-performing Technology team in Sydney. This is a company that offers flexibility and excellent progression opportunities to their employees. Your new role
You will be responsible for the delivery of legal services and advise to a diverse range of internal stakeholders across the company's technology portfolios. You will support senior lawyers on a range of technology deals, including the delivery of technology products and services, system implementation and integration, website app and development, managed services and cyber security engagement. You will review, draft and negotiate technology master services agreements, service level agreements, software licenses and confidentiality agreements and prepare legal responses on tenders. What you'll need to succeed
What you'll get in return
- 3 - 5 years' post admission experience in technology and commercial law;
- Experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating a range technology contracts;
- Australian legal qualifications and a current Australian practising certificate;
- A self-starter approach with an ability to take ownership of matters while managing a high volume workload;
- An ability to manage multiple stakeholders within a dynamic environment;
- An ability to work collaboratively as part of a broader team.
