HR & Practice Manager for large nationally known Law Firm - Sydney location
Your new company
A large, high profile, Legal Firm based in Sydney which is a highly reputable brand.

Your new role
The HR & Practice Manager is a stand alone role, reporting directly into 2 Directors you will be responsible for HR Practice Nationally; Completing employee end-to-end lifecycle, engagement and performance.
Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
  • Strategic HR Management- develop, plan and manage retention strategies and workforce planning alongside the directors.
  • L&D-developing and managing induction and training programmes for employees. by Identifying internal or external training solution including the management of the CLE process (Law Society requirements)
  • ER/Project Management - Conduct formal investigations, provide confidential counselling, Coaching and providing advice to senior staff on ER issues and policies
  • Conduct annual salary reviews, including internal and external benchmarking.
  • Manage WHS committee, proactively asses risks and run quarterly meetings.
What you'll need to success
You'll need to have a sound understanding of employment legislation, principles, and practices, from a theoretical and practical perspective as well as being data driven. Ideally At least ten 10 years' experience in a similar role, Previous exposure to professional services industry , A background and passion for working on talent, capability, leadership, employee engagement and culture.
Ideally you will have some formal HR qualification.
