Unique opportunity in Corporate Governance to join successful team as Board Coordinator & Practice Assistant!
Your new company
You will be joining a highly successful team of corporate governance professionals; this team is a branch of an industry known ASX listed finance company. This firm offers advisory and specialised services regarding governance and related company secretary matters. Their clients range from top ASX listed to non for profits, offering unique exposure to diverse clients. This is a very rare opportunity to join a collaborative and high performing corporate governance team.

Your new role
This is an ideal role for anyone interested in corporate governance looking to gain further industry experience. You will be providing support to the governance advisory team and company secretaries with board assistance and general administration support. Regarding board coordination, you will be assisting company secretaries and senior executives providing support with board packages, reports, meeting preparations, board papers, assisting with drafting minutes and document management. You will be assisting the management of foreign entities with compliance as well as registrations with regulators such as ASX and ASIC. You will also be assisting with office management including inbox management, invoicing and general office support.

What you'll need to succeed
Candidates with experience as Board Coordinators or in corporate governance looking for new roles within the industry are encouraged to apply. You are highly organised and have outstanding communication skills. You are confident liaising with key Stakeholders such as C-suit Executives with professionalism and high attention to detail. You have experience in building board packages, board papers, and have exposure to ASX and ASIC. You are skilled in providing support to senior management and assisting with documentation and agendas. You work well on a team but also a self-starter as you are proactive and take ownership over your work. Candidates must have experience with Diligent Board Portal or a similar board portal. Applicants with experience working for ASX listed companies or corporate governance will be highly regarded.

The office is CBD located and work from home is offered 1-3 days a week. This company is currently offering $90,000 - $100,000 + Super as well as future career progression.
