Our client has a global footprint and provides innovative financial risk (credit) solutions to a range of niche and specialist markets across Real Estate, Infrastructure and Leveraged Finance LBO. With transaction flow covering 40% European, 40% Asia Pacific and 20% Americas, they are the pre-eminent provider of bespoke financial solutions to the structured finance market. With unprecedented growth, they are now seeking to add an Associate to join the Sydney team.
Working with experienced Directors, you will provide analytical support in the form of credit risk analysis, transaction underwriting, portfolio management and reporting for structured finance transactions. This will include preparation of credit papers, monitoring of the portfolio, financial & sensitivity analysis, financial modelling, company research, assisting in transaction structuring, documentation and management. Financial transactions will encompass a wide range of industry sectors: transport, oil & gas, infrastructure, leveraged & acquisition, real estate and corporate facilities.
You will have tertiary qualifications in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or Accounting, as well as an investigative mind and developed curiosity. Self-motivated with a systematic approach to learning, your 3-5 years’ relevant experience from corporate/institutional banking, project/structured/leveraged finance, or debt & capital advisory will bode well to your success in this position. You will also have a strong attention to detail, advanced spreadsheeting skills, as well as developed written and verbal communication skills.
