The business works with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, family offices and purpose-driven organisations, providing tailored advice, sophisticated portfolios and access to global investment solutions. The firm is continuing to grow, with a number of Associate opportunities now available across Sydney.
Your new role
There are multiple Sydney-based Associate roles available, including career Associate and experienced Associate positions.
Depending on the team, you may support individual Advisers or work as part of a broader Adviser team, providing high-touch client service and day-to-day support across sophisticated client portfolios.Duties will include:
- Support experienced Advisers with meeting preparation, follow up actions, proposals, pitch documents and review packs
- Conduct client onboarding, account opening, ongoing account maintenance and portfolio administration
- Manage settlement obligations including funds and securities due, cash and asset transfers, margin calls, corporate actions, quote requests, IPOs and placements
- Work closely with clients, Advisers and internal teams including Operations, Investment Solutions, Financial Planning and Wealth Management
- Coordinate cash and stock transfers, corporate actions and international trading execution
- Assist with client queries, routine account issues and documentation updates, with a strong focus on service and accuracy
- Proactively manage annual reviews, risk profile renewals and expiring documentation
- For Associate roles, candidates with 1 to 2 years financial services or corporate experience will be considered
- For Career Associate roles, ideally 3 to 5 years experience in wealth management or adviser support.
- Strong client service, communication and relationship management skills
- High attention to detail, strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- A resourceful, self-starting approach with a high focus on compliance and service standards
- Experience with AML/KYC, client onboarding or account maintenance would be highly regarded
- RG146 is desirable but not essential, with the expectation it can be obtained if not already held
- Candidates from investment operations, investment banking, M&A, Big 4, tax, accounting or broader financial services backgrounds may also be considered
