Key Accountabilities

  • Preparation and lodgment of monthly tax (BAS, FBT, PAYG)
  • Annual preparation of ITR (supporting external big four partner)
  • Monthly Financial close review
  • Prepare Quarterly Board Papers
  • Assist in preparation of annual Financial Accounts
  • Assist with various audits and governance programs
  • Daily monitoring of liquidity and AFSL license
  • Oversight of various offshore processing

Experience, Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

  • Suitable for a candidate with big four experience looking to make the transition into Corporate Accounting within the Financial Services sector or for someone with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years Accounting experience – preferable in a large organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and / or a finance qualification
  • Knowledge of financial accounting systems
  • Detail orientated
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all staff levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Team player
  • Strong focus on accuracy and quality
