Your new role
You will manage a large team of AML QA Analysts in an approach to managing Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorism Financing, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery and Corruption risks and obligations across the business.
  • Act as the Quality Assurance function in ensuring the bank meets its AML, CDD and ECDD obligations
  • Daily key areas will include ECDD, PEPs, Customer, Correspondent Banking and Sanctions and AML/CTF
  • Build a relationship with the business and managers to provide insights and trends in Financial Crime as well as understanding any developing risks and issues
  • Uplifting the financial crime knowledge of the QA team and promoting continuous learning and development within the team
  • To lead, coach and inspire team members to achieve a high performing team culture.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Tertiary qualification in finance, business, law or a relevant discipline is desirable or AML/CTF qualifications
  • Financial Crime and AML experience
  • Experience in leading a team
  • An understanding of the financial crime regulatory framework with knowledge of the AML/CTF, Sanctions and ABC risk environment
  • Risk Mindset
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to articulate trends
  • High Attention to detail
