Compensation: 200-800k AUD

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the APAC head office of a tech-focused market-maker with groundbreaking success in the high frequency trading space. Now looking to hire an experienced AI Engineer focused on designing, building and deploying sophisticated AI agents that orchestrate data, workflows and firm-wide decisions.

This hands-on role offers the opportunity to own the full lifecycle, developing robust agents using Python as well as integrating AI solutions with existing enterprise systems. As such, this will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and deliver effective agents, plus developing a platform to evaluate those agents.

Requirements

• 6+ years' professional experience in developing Python applications
• Deep-level knowledge of Python 3.x, including advanced features (asyncio, type hints, context managers)
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, OO design, & modular architecture
• Excellent knowledge of Python, common AI/ML libraries & 3 rd -party integration
• Some commercial or open-source experience in developing AI agents with any of the well-known services
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field
