About the role:

Join a high-performing Corporate Tax team and take the lead on a diverse portfolio of tax advisory and compliance engagements across a range of industries. In this role, you'll deliver practical, commercially focused tax solutions, build trusted client relationships, and play an important leadership role in mentoring, coaching and developing junior team members. Working closely with Partners, you'll contribute to team success, support business growth, and further strengthen your technical and leadership capabilities in a collaborative and supportive environment.

• Leading client service teams and managing RSM's service delivery to clients;
• Providing commercial tax advice to RSM's clients, including identifying and resolving tax issues in conjunction with the Partners;
• Advising clients on M&A transactions including structuring of transactions and conducting tax due diligence in conjunction with the Partners and other tax specialists.
• Research and analysis of case law and legislation;
• Review of income tax returns and tax effect calculations;
• Manage and develop junior staff members and deliver in-house technical training to the wider team

About you:

• 5-7 years' experience in Corporate Tax within a professional services environment, with strong advisory and compliance expertise.
• Proven leadership experience mentoring, coaching and developing junior team members to achieve high performance.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver practical, commercially focused tax advice.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
• Degree qualified in Business, Commerce or Finance (Accounting major preferred) and CA/CTA qualified or equivalent.

Desirable

• Business / Commerce / Finance/ Law double degree preference with Accounting Major
• Master of Taxation
