The purpose of this role is to lead a high performing and customer responsive team. The position will involve supporting a team of
R&RTW Case Managers who manage aportfolio of
0-55 week workers compensation claims by leading and supervising day to day work activity and supporting them to deliver exceptional recovery outcomes and customer service.
The role will ensure portfolios are pro-actively and effectively managed in accordance with legislative requirements with a focus on achieving outcomes in line with scheme and internal performance measures.
This is a
permanent, full time role based in our
Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensure team members achieve performance and KRA targets as set out under the BU performance framework.
- Utilise appropriate feedback to identify, oversee and foster an efficient, collaborative and effective customer-centric operating model.
- Identify and evaluate individual and organisational development needs. Deliver individual and group learning and development programs.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation. Maintain awareness of industry developments and trends and respond effectively to changes.
- Effectively manage team resources and priorities.
- Ensuring appropriate strategies are in place to maximise performance revenue, report and use the insights.
- Oversight of team budget expenditure, if required.
ABOUT YOU - Experience in a Team Leader role or equivalent within the Victorian Workers Compensation scheme preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in the management of claims
- Strong understanding of the contractual requirements and performance measures for Victorian Worksafe Agents
- Leadership skills, including team building, coaching, performance management and change management
- Experience managing and developing teams within a personal injury environment
