Job Description:
On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to provide strategic and solution architecture leadership for the Human Supports Initiative, disability life event services, foundational capabilities, and related Connected Services BC priorities.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Solution Architect will:
• Provide enterprise, business, application and solution architecture expertise.
• Lead architecture activities related to disability life event services, foundational capabilities, MySS integrations, and associated interoperability requirements.
• Develop architecture artifacts, design documentation, roadmaps and recommendations.
• Support alignment with provincial architecture standards, enterprise architecture direction and CSBC objectives.
• Participate in governance reviews, architecture committees and executive discussions.
• Identify opportunities for service modernization, reuse and scalability.
• Support cross-government collaboration and technical decision making.
Deliverables:
• Architecture assessments and recommendations.
• Solution architecture documentation.
• Integration and interoperability designs.
• Technical roadmaps and governance materials.
• Architecture decision records and supporting documentation.
Requirements:
Must Have:
• Minimum ten (10) years of recent experience within the last fifteen (15) years providing enterprise, solution or application architecture services.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting large-scale digital service transformation initiatives.
• Experience designing interoperability and integration solutions across multiple business systems.
• Experience working within complex public sector environments.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Connected Services BC initiatives.
• Experience with identity projects and authentication models including architecture, related technologies and industry standards.
• Experience delivering architecture and solutions for initiatives with complex business, process, policy requirements.
• Experience delivering complex technical solutions with multiple points of integration with other internal and external systems
• Experience working with BC Government enterprise architecture standards and practices.
